Artist Overview
I’ve been working with clay since the winter of 2013 when I took my first class at The Clay Studio in old city Philadelphia. I moved to Asheville in 2015 to join The Village Potters for 3 years. I then fired in a small 1ft x 1ft test kiln in my basement for 2 and a half years and I am now a part of Odyssey Clayworks. I have also completed a life-changing ceramics residency up in Maine at Watershed. Working with clay brings me so much joy.
About
My ceramics are handbuilt with small coils or slabs printed with found nature treasures such as sticks and shells. I use minimal glaze to show off the raw beauty of the clay itself but enough to make it functional. I fire in small batches. Each piece has its own unique personality
